WASHINGTON (Sinclair Broadcast Group) - Why is it okay for Democrats to praise a notorious anti-Semite? I spoke to you a few weeks ago about the founder of the Nation of Islam, Louis Farrakhan. He is the person who called Adolf Hitler “a very great man.”

Just a week or so ago, Farrakhan was at it again. At a speech in Chicago, he spouted hate against Jewish people, gay people and white people, among others.

You would think that it would be standard practice for our elected officials to denounce Farrakhan, just like it is, correctly, to denounce white supremacists like David Duke.

Unfortunately, that is not the case. According to The Daily Caller, 21 members of the Congressional Black Caucus, all Democrats, were asked about their reported ties to Farrakhan. Not one of them condemned him.

One member of the CBC, Congressman Danny Davis of Illinois went further. He called Louis Farrakhan an “outstanding human being.”

To top it all off Congressman Davis said that, “the world is so much bigger than Farrakhan and the Jewish question.”

"The Jewish question?"

That is exactly the language used by Adolf Hitler. He and the Nazis had a final solution to "the Jewish question." That solution was to exterminate Jews in the Holocaust. Members of my family died in the horrors of the Holocaust.

Here is the bottom line: shame on you, Congressman Davis. You should apologize and resign immediately. The other politicians with ties to Farrakhan have to come to their senses and condemn this hate monger. If not, I don’t see how they can continue to hold elected office.
