Video of a 7-year-old asking Arkansas Senator Tom Cotton a question at a town hall Wednesday night is going viral on the internet.

Toby Smith was sitting in the upper level of the Springdale High School auditorium when he asked Sen. Cotton about cuts President Trump could make to pay for the border wall.

After asking his question, the crowd could be heard chanting the boy's name.

Following the town hall, Smith talked with KATV reporter Matt Mershon about what he asked the senator.

Online, the question has seen responses praising the boy for asking a question, as well as criticizing what some called a political stunt.
