Actress Jessica Chastain has tied the knot.
The "Interstellar" star wed Italian fashion executive Gian Luca Passi de Preposulo in his home country on Saturday after a days-long lead-up to the nuptials.
According to People, guests began arriving in Treviso, Italy, which is located about an hour north of Venice, on Wednesday ahead of the weekend ceremony. Family and friends went sightseeing together to bond before partying it up at a pre-wedding dinner on Friday.
The newlyweds exchanged their vows on Saturday at her husband's magnificent Passi de Preposulo family estate Villa Tiepolo Passi in front of their loved ones. Celebrities such as fellow actresses Anne Hathaway and Emily Blunt, fashion writer Derek Blasberg and Chastain's "Zero Dark Thirty" co-star Edgar Ramirez were in attendance at the weekend wedding.
Guests enjoyed the gorgeous grounds at the historic palatial manor, which has been part of the groom's noble Passi de Preposulo clan since the 1800s.
"The Help" star began dating the fashion professional in 2012 before marrying him on Saturday and she has been reluctant to speak about their relationship, preferring to keep details of their love life private.
Although Chastain told Extra in 2013 she was "very, very happy" with her partner, the star confessed in 2015 she had no idea if marriage was on the table.
"I'm not quite sure of what I want in my life, and who knows if marriage is a part of it," she told People at the time. "So to me, marriage is not an important thing."
