A woman was seriously hurt in a crash between a truck and a car Thursday night.
Savannah-Chatham Metro police say the wreck happened on I-16, near the Chatham-Effingham County line, at about 8:50 p.m.
Officers said a car and a semi-truck were both traveling west on the highway, one behind the other. The car then collided with the rear of the semi-truck.
A 32-year-old woman was driving the car and sustained serious injuries.
There were no other injuries reported.
The Traffic Investigation Unit responded to the scene.
This investigation is ongoing.
