More than 20,000 students and their chaperones have taken over the Savannah International Trade & Convention Center for the eight-day National Beta Club Convention.
With every inch of the building being dedicated to a different aspect of the convention, whether it be for poetry or performances, there was certainly no lack of excitement in the air.
Students attending the event were enthusiastic about the chance to interact with peers from all over the country.
"There's a lot of opportunities," said Jurnee Wright, a Beta Club student. "You get to meet new people that are fun and not scared to talk to you. You get to see amazing acts and everything, so it's just very interesting to get to see all this new stuff."
The convention will run through June 20, 2018.
