Savannah-Chatham Metro police are looking into a shooting incident after a man arrived at the hospital with a gunshot wound Monday evening.

About 6:15 p.m. officers responded to Memorial Medical Center where an 18-year-old man was being treated for a non-life-threatening wound, according to a news release.

Police say the injured man was uncooperative with detectives.

Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to contact police. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call the SCMPD tip line by dialing (912) 525-3124.

Information may also be forwarded to CrimeStoppers at (912) 234-2020. Tipsters remain anonymous and may qualify for a cash reward.
