Source4Teachers, a leading national provider of educational managed service solutions for pre-kindergarten through 12th grade school districts, announced on Thursday that it has entered into an agreement with the Savannah-Chatham County Public School System to manage its entire substitute and paraprofessional program.
The partnership calls for Source4Teachers to recruit, screen, train, hire, place, and manage applicants looking to be substitutes in the district, according to a news release.
It will place certified and non-certified daily and long-term substitute teachers and will also fill a variety of non-instructional roles including daily paraprofessionals, nurses, school nutrition workers, media specialists, custodians, school counselors, clerical workers (secretaries, clerks) and school bus monitors.
Source4Teachers will also provide an online substitute management portal to allow full-time teachers and staff to log their absences electronically, the release said.

Savannah-Chatham is the fourth additional Georgia School District to enlist Source4Teachers' services for 2016-2017, the release said.
During the 2016-2017 school year, Source4Teachers' Georgia partnerships will include Long County School System, Vidalia City School District, Charlton County Schools, Jeff Davis County Schools and now, Savannah-Chatham County Public Schools.
All existing substitutes will be offered continuing employment under the terms of the new agreement, the release said.
