Guyton, Ga. (WTGS)-For those who are still working on their Valentine's Day plans, tickets are still available for the first annual "Hearts for Healing" Valentine's Day Gala.

Faith Equestrian Therapeutic Center in Guyton is hosting the event, which will be held at the Tybee Island Wedding Chapel. This is the first gala of its kind, but the center hopes to make it an annual event.

Reception begins at 7pm with a silent auction and cash bar opening at 6:30pm.

Faith Equestrian began with two students in Bonnie Rachael's backyard in 2006. It has since grown to more than 100 students of all ages.

Rachael says the center is looking for volunteers and often accepts new applicants to come try out therapeutic horseback riding, which they say can help those with special needs on their posture, speech, anxiety, and more. Rachael says horses also can help those with physical and sensory disorders.
