15 Marines hurt in training accident at Camp Pendleton

Fifteen U.S. Marines were injured while training on Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, according to the Marine Corps.

When the incident occurred, the Marines were conducting a "Combat Readiness Evaluation" inside an amphibious landing vehicle.

Somehow, the vehicle caught on fire, officials said.

The extent of the injuries are unknown.
