A 25-year-old man was stabbed in the buttocks Saturday night, and an unknown object was found lodged inside the victim near the wound.
According to Syracuse Police, they responded to the 1600 block of West Genesee Street regards to a stabbing call.
When officers arrived, they found the victim suffering from a wound to his buttocks. The victim was transported to Upstate University Hospital, officers said.
According to officials, while the medical staff was treating the victim, they found an unknown object lodged inside the victim near the wound. They determined it could be a piece of the knife or some kind of projectile.
Police said the victim was not cooperative with investigating officers and did not provide any suspect information.
