You can watch Shelbey Roberts every weekday night reporting live for FOX 28 News at Ten.

Shelbey is a passionate writer and storyteller who has been working in news since 2011. Shelbey was first introduced to the world of broadcasting during her studies at the University of Michigan. She spent her four Maize and Blue years as an award-winning news reporter and producer for the campus' student-run television station, WOLV-TV. To learn more about community-related topics in her neighborhood, she also interned at Ann Arbor's public access station. Shelbey's work has even landed her voice-overs for multiple nationally broadcasted commercials.

Although she originally hails from the Mitten state, Shelbey comes to FOX 28 from an NBC station in Myrtle Beach, SC. Splitting her time between the beach and the newsroom, she worked diligently to make her reporting dreams a reality. She began her professional career as a part-time production assistant--learning all that she could about camera shots, lighting, graphic animations, directing and script writing. After months of dedication, Shelbey became the station's weekend morning reporter.

When she's not chasing down a story to make deadline, you can find Shelbey exploring the history of Savannah and soaking up the warm weather that the Midwest doesn't get very often. Keeping with her signature smile, you will also probably catch her laughing at an episode of Bob's Burgers.

Shelbey enjoys taking the time to get to know and learn as much as she can about the community around her. If you would like to pass along story ideas, she can be reached via email at
