Embattled Hollywood giant Harvey Weinstein could soon face an investigation by the FBI.

According to The Daily Mail, the Department of Justice ordered then bureau to look into a number of allegations of sexual assault.

The Daily Mail reports officials fear he could leave the country, in part, to avoid any prosecution related to reports of his actions over the years.

Weinstein left Los Angeles for a treatment facility Wednesday recommended by his brother, according to The Blast.

The Blast reports the 65-year-old man flew to Arizona for treatment at The Meadows - a facility known to assist celebrities struggling with addiction and other issues.

While the celebrity news site said he left for the facility Wednesday, it's still possible he may choose other options - including a center in Switzerland.
