Savannah, GA (WTGS) -- The City of Savannah is holding a neighborhood cleanup in the "Savannah Shines" Edgemere/Sacksville neighborhood this coming Saturday.
The city is bringing the trash bags and other tools for volunteers to use.
They're looking for volunteers to help clean up streets and lanes from Waters Avenue to Salvador Street.
The event will start at the corner of East 55th Street and Waters Avenue at 8:30 Saturday morning.
Volunteers will work until about 11:30 a.m.
Edgemere/Sackville was chosen as the City's first "Savannah Shines" neighborhood and is the focus of the City's neighborhood revitalization plans.
The neighborhood includes the area bordered by East 53rd Street, Waters Avenue, Parnell Street and the Truman Parkway.
Keep Savannah Beautiful says any neighborhood association that's interested in doing a cleanup can call them at 912-651-6703.
