Convicted Savannah sex offender indicted again
Convicted child molester Bobby Lavon Buckner was indicted Wednesday on a charge of violating the sex offender registration act when he failed to disclose a new address as required by law.
He faces a two count indictment, failing to register as a sex offender and making a false statement.
Buckner had previously been convicted of six counts of child molestation after June 30, 2001 the indictment said.
Buckner is considered a level three predator, which is the highest rating on the sex offender registry.
