Savannah, Ga. (WTGS FOX 28) — Jessie Chris, 2018 Billboard Artist to Watch, stopped by the Hesse School on Wednesday as part of her 100 school anti-bullying tour.
The country singer spoke to more than 200 students about her personal story of bullying when she was growing up and her perseverance to get through the difficult times.
She took questions from students and performed her most recent song, 'Burn'.
"Some of them say that now because of hearing what I went through and seeing where I am now, they feel like they have the confidence to do anything and that means a lot to me," said Chris.
After taking a brief break, Chris said her next stop will be New Jersey.
