Savannah, Ga. (WTGS FOX 28) -- Dancers, singers, musicians - calling all students with a passion for the arts.
Esther F. Garrison School for the Arts will be holding an audition workshop Sept. 20, 2018, from 5 - 6:15 p.m. The goal is to help students prepare to audition for the school's Arts Alive program.
However, the workshop is not just for Garrison students. Students from across the district are encouraged to come get audition-ready and hone their skills.
“What we’re really talking about is helping children advance skill levels in all arts areas. So that they could do whatever they wanted to do going forward," said John Tisbert, the chorus director at Garrison.
"A lot of kids don’t have those resources to prepare, but they can come here and have those resources to help them with those things," said Mandy Madson, a chorus instructor at Garrison.
If you can't make it to this workshop, the next one will be held on Nov. 14.
