Savannah man indicted in 2017 Savannah State University rape
Shuntavious Antwoin Ransom is facing a two count indictment, including one count of rape and one count of sodomy.
The true bill issued Wednesday cited a March 17, 2017 incident involving ransom and an unnamed women.
Ladonna Clark is a Savannah State Police officer who was also named as a witness to the case.
A Savannah State Police Department call log obtained by FOX 28 confirms the March 17 rape happened at University Commons, an on campus housing development, and was reported the next day.
FOX 28 did reach out to university officials for comment, and will publish their response when received.
