Search for drug suspect stretches from Georgia to Texas
The search for a Savannah man, wanted in a drug investigation, has expanded to Atlanta and all the way to Texas.
Chatham County's CNT unit is searching for 38-year-old Omar “Fresh” Jujuan Griffin. He is described as 5'8" tall, 165 pounds and has short, clean cut black hair and brown eyes.
Agents say Griffin has a history of running from law enforcement and is considered armed and dangerous.
While he is known to hang around the Savannah area, investigators think he's likely in Atlanta or Houston, although people here may know where he is.
Agents say he is considered one of the leaders of a group responsible for a huge drug bust where authorities seized 25 kilograms of cocaine, 40 pounds of marijuana, five ounces of Ecstasy, 17 bottles of codeine, and 21 guns.. two of those were reported stolen.
Anyone with information regarding Griffin’s whereabouts is urged to contact CNT at 912-652-3900 or CrimeStoppers at 912-234-2020 where callers remain anonymous and may qualify for a cash reward.
