Wednesday morning, many areas will start off in the lower 30s and warm up to the low 60s (WTGS)

March is often a month of extremes. 2019 is going to be no different and it's about to feel more like January than March.

Sunday’s high was 80. however. Monday’s high was a chilly 65 nearly 15 degrees cooler. Tonight, its about to get even colder! We’re expecting some inland spots to go down to the upper 20s.

In the Savannah area, expect to see temperatures around the low 30s.

Tomorrow, many areas will start out in the lower 30s and warm up to the low 60s. We should be around 68 for our high. Some inland communities could even see some frost develop.

It has already prompted the National Weather Service to issue a Freeze Warnings for much of Southeast Ga. and the Lowcountry including Long County, Chatham County, Liberty County, Effingham County, Evans County, McIntosh County, Candler County, Screven County, Jasper County, Bulloch County and Bryan County.

Make sure you bring in any animals or plants that are susceptible to cold weather. Also make sure to close any windows and to monitor your pipes for any freezing.

Some relief is coming at the end of the week when it will be more seasonal.
